My Most Precious Human novel Chapter 118

The roaring monster stood right in front of me with his shredded human clothes lying around on the floor. While being on his four massive paws, he was still a whole head higher than me. His dark grey fur emanated savageness, and combined with the excessive rage overflowing his pupils, his aura screamed horrifying danger. The crowd went wild, supporting Brick's beast and encouraging him to attack me. I swallowed hard and glanced at Draven and Ari.

"Alpha?" Ari stepped forward, expecting Alpha to interfere, but he was stopped by his Alpha's raised palm.

Draven looked at me calmly without saying a word, and I could see a faint smirk appearing on his face.

"You have to be kidding me!" I hissed, wondering if Alpha was trying to kill me.

I glanced at my opponent. He was about to attack. I quickly calculated my chances, and a second later, I already knew that inside this building he could rip me to pieces in no time. This beast was way too close to me, and the only chance I had was to create more distance between us. I needed to run outside, but the crowd was blocking my way.

"Running scared, little girl?" One of the warriors blocking my way mocked me. "Daddy won't save you this time!"

I gritted my teeth and glared at them. "Move out of my way!" I yelled.

Certainly, they reacted with vicious laughter, which only infuriated me more. I gazed behind my shoulder. Brick was about to storm right at me, and I had less than a second to react. I bounced off the ground where I stood and did a front flip, jumping above warriors' heads, and landing right beside the exit. I opened the door and ran the hell out of there. Brick was right behind me, charging forward like the deadliest hellhound. Thank God, I was still faster even when he was in wolf form. I ran to the center of the training field and then turned around, waiting for my opponent within a 30-foot distance.

The elite squad came outside to watch us fight, surrounding the ground while chanting Brick's name. Draven and Ari walked outside as well. Ari seemed more than concerned about the situation, while his Alpha held an indifferent expression, which enraged me even more than before. What kind of sick game did he play?!
