There was a saying that couples usually argued over finances. But in reality, as long as two people were in a relationship, there were bound to be arguments stemming from impulsive words...
Hendrix tried to restrain his anger. He then said in a calm manner, "Is it because I didn't come back to have dinner with you?"
I smiled indifferently and said, "Not at all. It's just a meal. I'm just bored and want to do it for fun. At the same time, I can practice my cooking skills. Irvin has been ill these days, so he needs to have some nutritious food to build up his health."
What I said was true, but that wasn't the main reason.
His face suddenly darkened, and his handsome face was filled with rage. He glared at me with his gloomy eyes, "Huh, alright, I must have thought too much. I forgot that you're so concerned about him. So, why are you back tonight? Don't you need to care for him?"
His words sounded a little sarcastic. I pursed my lips and said, "Well, thanks for reminding me about it. I will go to the hospital right away." If I stayed in the villa, I'd just continue to argue with
him. Therefore, it would be better if I go to the hospital to care for Irvin.
Hendrix grabbed my wrist hard and said with suppressed anger, "Arianna, have you forgotten that you're a wife and mother? Now, you're running off to another man in the middle of the night! Don't you even have any basic ethics as a wife?"
I tried to break free from his grasp, but I couldn't.
