I smiled and said, "Miss Zanes, you're excellent and professional, and you're recognized and appreciated by others. However, as for the other things, I believe that Hendrix and I have the same views. Truth be told, I hope that you can succeed in life."
Rowane frowned, not quite understanding what I meant.
I looked at her with a faint smile, but kept quiet.
After looking at each other for a moment, she left with an unpleasant expression on her face.
Lunch.
Hendrix chose a restaurant that served foreign cuisine. It tasted plainer than most foods. The food was mainly fragrant and sweet, which suited girls' tastes.
"Do you have any plans for the afternoon?" Hendrix asked, continuously adding food to my bowl.
I paused and shook my head, "I don't know yet!"
Seeing that I wasn't saying much, he didn't bother me. After I finished eating, he reached out to me and held my hand, saying, "I've been busy recently and haven't had the time to accompany you. I'm sorry."
I smiled faintly and shook my head, "I understand, so you don't have to apologize."
We finished eating. That was the first time that I ate so much. He reached out for my hand and said, "Let's go for a walk to digest the food."
It was still early, so I decided to follow him in wandering around the city.
The streets were crowded with people. As we were crossing the road, he grabbed my hand and said, "Don't run!"
It was just like a father's warning to a daughter. I smiled lightly and looked up at the stars in the sky, noticing the envious gaze of the passersby.
That was right. I had forgotten about it. Hendrix, who carried his own light, was particularly eyecatching in the crowd.
There were many young men and women crossing the street. Across the road, a couple were hugging each other tightly as if they didn't want to part from each other.
After crossing the street, I tugged on Hendrix's sleeve. He looked at me and asked, "Do you have something to say to me?"
I nodded. Pointing to the couple hugging each other by the road, I smiled and said, "It seems that you never told me about your love life from when you were younger."
After a pause, I thought of Andrea. However, he had once said that he had never fallen in love with her.
Walking in the bustling crowd, he leaned in closer to me and said, "I never fell in love when I was young."
