Chapter 102
Before Arabella could say anything, Kenneth raised his eyes. "I don't think it's OK."
"What's wrong?"
"I remember you just met in Springfield, so it isn't a long time ago."
"For us, one day apart seems like three years. Mr. Lucero, please let her have a day off. You could spend 200 million on a beauty while Bella can't accompany her best friend for a while? It doesn't make sense."
Kenneth was and he knew Aurora did this on purpose. "Many people will miss Bella at home, such as grandma, Rylie..."
Aurora said ruthlessly, "That's none of my business."
Kenneth didn't say a word and then stared at Arabella, his deep eyes ablaze with affection.
Of course, Arabella understood what he meant. He wanted her to go home.
He even used grandma and Rylie as excuses.
Arabella nodded. "Okay. I'll stay with you. Mr. Lucero, just tell grandma that I won't be home tonight."
Kenneth glanced at the bright neon lights outside the window and then curled his lips. "Just this one night. I'll pick you up tomorrow."
"No. Bella gets to decide how long she will stay here," said Aurora.
