Chapter 257
Kenneth looked at the traffic through the rearview mirror and then skillfully changed the lane by the steering wheel. "Grandma, I'm fine. Just forget it," he said.
Sharon sighed, "When it comes to your parents' relationship, we are all bystanders and cannot judge it, but I know you are the most innocent. You've been haunted by the psychological shadow caused by your original family. Your emotional pain you've got since you were a kid won't heal until the end of your life."
Kenneth had an expressionless face and said lightly, "I've grown up and don't need them anymore."
Sharon hung up. After a while, Kenneth parked in front of the Confidential Medical Institute.
He got off and leaned against the luxury car lazily rather than come into the institute directly. Then, he took out his phone and sent a message. "Mrs. Lucero, will you come out to see me or will I go find you in the institute?"
After that, he put his phone back into his pocket, took out a cigarette, held it between his lips, and faintly lit it with a lighter.
In the drug house of the institute, Arabella got the message and realized Kenneth had arrived.
She ran out quickly. The moment she was out of the gate of the institute, she saw Kenneth leaning against his car and smoking.
He was still in his black suit which was unbuttoned, revealing his white shirt. He fastened an expensive and charming belt around the shirt, with his long legs naturally stretching forward. She saw he was putting one hand into his pocket and had half a cigarette between his fingers of the other. He looked noble and cold under the street lamp and attracted so much attention.
Arabella quietly walked over to him, stood on tiptoe, and covered his eyes with her hands. "Guess who I am," she said naughtily.
