"I've already said that I'm not a bar girl from here. It's fine if you want me to accompany you all for drinking. However, I have a condition. Let me join you all for a round of the game. If I win, let me go. If I lose, I'm all yours."
Arabella wanted to play cards.
The bosses were never lacking in women and had seen various types of women. However, a woman who was calm, wise, and interesting, like Arabella, was rare.
Arabella had provoked the curiosity of these men.
"You can't escape from us anyway. So, we'll let you play for a round. It'll be more interesting."
Arabella sat at the poker table. Kenneth was beside her.
Kenneth didn't speak throughout the process but only gracefully and lazily smoked the cigarette. However, it was obvious that he was the king in the room.
Randall raised his eyebrow while looking at Arabella. He kindly reminded, "No one can play cards better than Ken. Perhaps, you can try begging Ken to let him be merciful to you?"
Arabella didn't reply.
She didn't want to beg Kenneth.
Kenneth was apathetic, but his aura turned colder. The cigarette soot on his fingertips fell into the ashtray. He was looking somewhat intimidating.
"Mr. Lucero, we'll start now. Deal the cards."
Arabella took her cards and calmly threw a card. A boss was quickly out of the game.
When Arabella threw the second card, Randall angrily smashed the cards in his hand on the table. He looked at the only remaining player on the team, Kenneth, with great disbelief, "Ken, this woman is good at memorizing and predicting cards. I am out of the game. Ken, you must avenge me!"
Arabella's quick speed in disqualifying two people from the game intrigued the bosses in the room. They came closer to watch.
"Little beauty, I didn't expect you to be this good."
"Now it's your game against Mr. Lucero. However, Mr. Lucero has never lost a game before, unless Mr. Lucero himself wants to lose."
Arabella raised her head and looked at Kenneth, who was sitting beside her. Actually, she rarely played cards. However, she had seen Aurora playing cards before. Aurora always lost money because her skills were terrible. So, she often brought Arabella with her to win money.
Arabella was clever. There were techniques when playing cards. She learned them quickly. However, she had no chance of winning against an expert like Kenneth.
If she wanted to win, it could only be Kenneth who let her win.
However, Arabella didn't want to beg him.
Since their relationship was already broken, it should be broken thoroughly. Otherwise, Arabella would look down on herself.
Arabella threw a card.
Kenneth slowly narrowed his deep eyes in the smoke. He knew that Arabella was being stubborn and refused to beg him. He also knew that she was determined to end her relationship with him. He held the half-burnt cigarette between his thin lips and threw a card.
Randall fixed his eyes on the card. He slammed the table and stood up, "Ken is amazing! As expected of Ken!"
Arabella's eyebrows shivered. She had lost the game.
"Little beauty, we gave you an opportunity but you have failed. Moreover, you have lost thirty million dollars."
Thirty million dollars?
Arabella didn't know what the stake was, but thirty million dollars was enough for her to earn for a lifetime.
She was saddled with a debt of thirty million dollars after playing a round of the game.
"Don't panic, little beauty. You can find someone to help you pay for this thirty million dollar debt. However, we want to see what was agreed. Let's take off your veil first."
The portly boss went to remove Arabella's veil.
