Chapter 463
Kenneth walked over to pick up a bowl, but his eyelids twitched as he held it.
This bowl was the Habs' Bowl, a palace-used bowl from the Hollila Dynasty. It had now become a privately kept antique and was one of the items up for auction.
This single bowl was of immeasurable value.
Kenneth looked around and noticed that not only was there the palace-used bowl but even the forks were made of ivory and worth six figures each.
When Kenneth first woke up, he hadn't noticed these details. Now, he carefully surveyed the room. The rosewood furniture, vintage palace lamps, and even the knives on the countertop were crafted by Keithia artisans. Everything in this room displayed understated luxury to a jaw-dropping level.
"Mr. Lucero, why are you holding a bowl and staring blankly? Do you like it? I can give it to you. Take it," Arabella said as she looked over.
Kenneth's handsome face showed no emotional fluctuations. He just asked without any change in tone, "This bowl... and all the furnishings in this place, who prepared them?"
"I don't know. They were already here when I was brought to the countryside."
She knew nothing about it.
Kenneth observed the place where she had grown up. She was sent to the countryside at the age of nine and was raised there.
This house looked plain and simple yet contained numerous priceless items. Beyond the house was a vast garden, serene and beautiful, like a fairyland outside the bustling city.
The garden outside was vast and boundless. Kenneth asked, "Did you plant all those vegetables and fruits outside?"
"Well...," Arabella showed a bashful expression, "Do you think I can handle all of that by myself? My neighbors help me take care of them."
