Chapter 58
Everyone looked at Arabella in shock. What was she doing? She wanted to snatch Leia's groom?
Leia's face flushed with anger and quickly scolded her, "Arabella, what are you doing? This is our engagement party. Don't you ruin it!"
Melvin's pupils shrank. He never expected Arabella to say such a thing. It had been ten years. She was still so beautiful and stubborn. She had never begged him nor compromised.
Melvin stepped forward.
Leia immediately pulled Melvin's sleeve to stop him from leaving. "Melvin, don't be fooled by Arabella. She said that on purpose. She wants to seduce you!"
Melvin pulled his sleeve out of Leia's hand and then came before Arabella. He stared at her. "Were you serious?"
Everyone looked at each other. It was obvious. As soon as Arabella nodded, the groom-to-be would run away with her.
Leia dug her fingernails into her palms and her eyes started to turn red.
Arabella looked at Melvin and laughed suddenly. "Mr. Spencer, I was just kidding. Please don't take it seriously."
"..."
Everyone was in an uproar. Arabella went too far with her joke.
Melvin's eyes suddenly became cold. She was making fun of him!
Arabella's smiling eyes fell on Leia's red eyes. "What's the matter? I was just kidding. Why does everyone look so shocked? Leia, why do you look as if you are about to cry?"
As she said so, she tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "Don't worry. I'm not a garbage collector. I only make fun of leftovers. You can do whatever you want with him."

Everyone was so shocked looking at Arabella, who was so arrogant. Was she crazy? How dared she say so!
"You!" Leia was so mad.
As the atmosphere became awkward and tense, Seth quickly stood up. "Okay, the blessed moment has come. The engagement ceremony officially starts now. Mr. Spencer, didn't you plan a romantic marriage proposal for Leia?"
Everyone heeded him and applauded. "Propose! Propose! Propose!"
Melvin stopped staring at her coldly. He took a bouquet of flowers and slowly knelt down before Leia on one knee as everyone watched.
The awkward and strange atmosphere just now was finally in the past. Seth looked at Arabella angrily and warned her in a low voice, "Bella, there can be no accident in this engagement party today. You'd better not play any trick. Otherwise..."
"Otherwise, you are sending me back to the countryside again? Dad, you seem to have forgotten that you've sold me to Floweret Garden."
Seth froze. "You!"
Leia felt jealous and hated Arabella, but as Caitlin winked at Leia to remind her where she was, she quickly regained her composure.
Now Melvin was kneeling before her. She was still the main character in this luxurious engagement party. No matter what it took, she would marry into the Spencer family.
Once she married into the Spencer family, she would naturally have a way to deal with Arabella!
