Right in front of so many people, his blunt disdain made Leah’s face go completely pale. 

Emyr leisurely continued with his taunting. “Besides, you and Mr. Nelson just became the biggest joke of the night. And what does that have to do with Charmaine? Did she mention you on stage? Did she say you were her parents? All Master Field said was that he wanted to invite her parents up. You two were the ones who jumped to conclusions and embarrassed yourselves. Satan chuckled mysteriously. “We’ll talk when we get home.” 

Olympia didn’t return to the event. She stormed out, gripping Leah’s wrist, and went straight to the parking lot.
