For almost two weeks, Bennett had been busy traveling around Anshire with Cash Ingalls. 

Before the trip, Cash had prepared in advance, while Bennett, still feeling the setback from the South City bid failure, had reached out to Roger. 

Thanks to Roger’s connection, they were among the first to learn about the redevelopment plans in Anshire, specifically the land in the old city’s Ringview Park area. 

Bennett assumed that buying up old, dilapidated houses would be a simple matter. However, most of the residents still living in Anshire were elderly, and even though their homes were falling apart, they stubbornly refused to leave.
