Chapter 102
The lunch was abundant.
Madeline’s appetite was the same as before.
Yulissa’s cooking

were great, and she made a table full of food.
As Hazel served the food on the table, she excitedly took out two bottles of wine. One was white wine, and the other was red wine.
She thought it was good to have both wines.
When Madeline and Nolan came downstairs, she smelled the fragrance of the food and could not help but take a deep breath.
“This is too much food. Why did you and Yulissa make so much, Hazel?”
Hazel chuckled. “It’s all Mr. Simmons‘ orders. Mr. Simmons treasures you a lot, and we wouldn’t dare neglect you”
After saying that, she stuck her tongue out and went back to cooking.
Madeline glanced at Caleb, feeling embarrassed. “Thank you, Caleb
She knew Caleb was usually very busy, so he would not have time to pay attention to such trivial matters.
Caleb smiled. “It’s good as long as it suits your taste.”
“Of course. Yulissa’s cooking is great,
“Then, you should come back often in the future. Eating out isn’t healthy for you.”
Madeline sat down and secretly glanced at Gavin, saying, “When I’m at school, it’s Gavvy who makes dinner. I only eat out for breakfast and lunch. It’s still healthy”
Caleb looked at Gavin, thinking. “He worked hard”
There was not much white wine produced during Thanksgiving.
This year’s season seemed to be later than the previous y
5 years.
Madeline opened the white wine and smelled its fragrant aroma. This was the first time she smelled that fragrance this year.
She already felt a little drunk even before drinking it.
In the past, she did not seem to care about this.
Only now did she realize that white wine and Thanksgiving were a great pair,
She sniffed, conflicted emotions dwelling in her eyes as she poured herself a glass.
This was the first celebration she had after her rebirth
Her brothers‘ unconditional love accompanied her.
Madeline narrowed her eyes and smiled deliberately. “It’s quite strong. I can’t hold my liquor well
She was lying,
After all, Madeline climbed up from the bottom and became the most popular celebrity in the entertainment industry. Madeline had gone on many drinking occasions.
One could say her alcohol tolerance was excellent

Hazel hurriedly responded, “Yes, Mr. Newton.”
She looked at Nolan, and her tone weakened as if she was afraid. “What about you, Mr. Fisher?”
Nolan smiled. “The same as Maddie”
Madeline raised the wine glass, feeling overjoyed. “This is my first time celebrating Thanksgiving with you guys after becoming an adult. I hope I can be with all of you every year in the future. I hope I can celebrate this day every year.”
“Every year will be better than the last, you foolish girl, Gavin said affectionately as he raised his glass. I promise you that.”
The four raised their glasses.
As their glasses collided, they made a crisp sound.
After drinking the wine, Madeline sat down quietly and took a chestnut.
The chestnut was cooked with duck meat, so it had the savory taste of duck meat and its own sweetness,
“It’s so delicious.”
She squinted her eyes happily.
Caleb took a piece of halibut and put it on Madeline’s plate. “This is this year’s halibut. I specifically asked someone to deliver it here.”
“Halibut?” Madeline was curious. Madeline took a bite, which tasted fresh.
“Caleb, I must take Yulissa away in the future. How much do you pay her? I don’t know if I can afford her. After all, lots of money is needed to acquire talent,” Madeline said half–jokingly, her smile beaming
“If you like it, ask her to cook for you!
Caleb seldom ate at home anyway.
Gavin cleared his throat, hostility oozing out from his face.
Madeline waved her hands. “Forget it, then. Our condominium is too small for someone else to come over and cook for us. Besides, Gavvy’s cooking is pretty tasty too.”
Gavin nodded with satisfaction, thinking, “It seems Maddie acknowledges my cooking skills.”
However, the dishes he made were simple and relatively plain compared to those specially prepared.
Since Madeline praised him today, Gavin could learn a few more dishes.
After all, it was easy for him.
Nolan picked up a pumpkin slice and placed it on Madeline’s plate. “Your grandparents sent these pumpkin slices. They harvested the pumpkins from the vegetable garden at the entrance of your house. They’re really fresh.
Madeline was stunned as she clenched her fork tightly.
