Chapter 39
She lifted Liam’s chin with her hand, her thumb sliding across his lips and down his throat. She laughed seductively, pressing her lips to his, “You look so fancy, so you must be expensive”
Her slender, fair fingers traced his chest, her half-closed eyes shining with allure, “Ill give you three thousand, will you sleep with me?”
Liam’s face darkened, and he smirked coldly. “Three thousand? Isn’t that a bit low?”
Celeste furrowed her brow puzzled, “Isn’t three thousand a fair price nowadays?”
Liam scoffed, “You seem to know quite a bit.”
Celeste hesitated for a moment before hardening her resolve, “Fire! Since you’re so fancy. I’ll add another five hundred. Three thousand five, not a cent more!”
Liam wished he could dunk her head into the nearby fish tank to sober her up!
If he hadn’t shown up tonight, would she have just taken any guy home with her?
The thought made Liam’s face turn even uglier
Unaware of the danger, Celeste took a bank card from her wallet and stuffed it into Liam’s shirt collar. She pinched his cheek and laughed. “You can’t back out now.”
Liam took a deep breath, grabbed her by the back of the neck, and led her out.
The bartender hurriedly called out, “Sir, your wife hasn’t paid for her drinks yet.”
Liam stopped, glaring at the culprit, and held her tightly. He took a gold bank card from his pocket and threw it to the bartender, “No password”
bateckto
Liam looked impatient, and the bartender didn’t dare say more. He quickly settled the bill, put the card away, and handed it back to Liam with both hands.
