Celeste directly stuffed the snacks to the guy and walked to Liam with the stuff in her hand

The guy held the snacks, pondering Liam’s gaze before he left, and the more he thought about it, the more frightened he became. The snacks in his hand suddenly felt like a ticking time bomb

In the CEO’s office

“The Tasty Tree’s gnocchi, rich in filling, and meatballs, their meatballs are very authentic, they sell out if you go late, this is a salad… there’s nothing special about this, mainly for balancing nutrition, and a lemon sorbet, it’s really yummy and healthy”

Celeste laid out the food she brought one by one, introducing them as if they were treasures.

After finishing, she frowned and handed him the chopsticks, “Mr. Reed, please enjoy your meal.”

Liam took the tableware and said coldly, “Didn’t Shawn give you enough living expenses when you were in school?”

Celeste was stunned, “He did, what’s wrong?”

Liam glared at her, “Nothing, just listening to you describe the dishes in such detail, I thought you used to do lots of part-time jobs.”

Celeste was speechless. She shouldn’t have responded to Liam’s words!

What else can this guy say besides sarcasm?

She glared at Liam and ignored the guy, turning her head to fiddle with the new sets of clothes she had just bought.

“Although I paid for today’s shopping. I’m not as stingy as you. Look, these two shirts are for you.”

Liam said coldly. “So should I thank you?”

Celeste squinted her eyes and said, “No need, as long as Mr. Reed keeps his promise, gives me a billion after getting control of Quantum, and divorces me, that’s enough”

Liam snorted, “Make me a cup of tea.”
