Cynthia didn’t care about his cold face at all. She lowered her head and smiled. “I want to tell you not to lend money to David.”

Henry didn’t expect her to be so straightforward. He smiled and looked at her with his arms crossed. “I was able to take over Miller Group with the help of Ivan and Tansy Group. If I don’t lend him money, I’m ungrateful. Do you want me to be an ungrateful person? I’m sorry.”

Cynthia expected his answer, and she took out a check from her bag and pushed it in front of Henry.

Did she want to bribe him?

Seeing her actions, Henry frowned and smiled ironically. After seeing the number on the check, his face was instantly livid. “Are you insulting me? You want to buy me for 5 million dollars?”

Cynthia said, “I want you to break the contract, so I have to give you some compensation.”

“Tansy Group is only worth 5 million in your heart?”

Holding the check in his hands, Henry sneered. He stuffed the check into the water glass. Within a few

seconds, the check turned soft.

He sneered and looked at Cynthia coldly. “Do you think I have nothing after I leave Coast City?”

Cynthia shook her head. “I know that you are not short of this money, but Tansy Group is not worth one

thousand in my heart.”

“Well, I’m not begging you. I’m just telling you. Jadney City is not Coast City. As an outsider, your every decision is crucial. Please consider it carefully.”

Hearing her words, Henry got angry. “Are you threatening me?”

He looked outside the door and saw Lloyd and Bill with anger in their eyes. “Do you think you can force me by bringing two people with you? I’m not afraid of you. I will never let you go.”

As he spoke, he approached Cynthia and said sullenly, “Do you still remember the feeling of being kidnapped? Do you want to experience it again?”

When Cynthia thought of Lily who was kidnapped and died, and Alston who was missing, she got angry. She looked at Henry with red eyes. “Henry, I was kidnapped last time, and it was planned by you and Ivan, right? You and Ivan are not friends, but you are willing to lend money to Tansy Group. Does Ivan know your

secrets?”

Henry’s expression changed, and before he could speak, Cynthia continued.

“The evidence that you have contracted with him to collude with human traffickers is in his hands, right? You

are afraid that he will betray you and put you in jail, but do you think that only he has the evidence?”

Cynthia sneered. “I have the evidence too.”

Henry panicked, and his face turned pale. “Impossible. If you have evidence, I would have been arrested long ago.”

“Of course, I want to send you to prison, but after all, you are from the George family, and your grandfather has a good relationship with the Green family. I will give you a chance. If you dare to harm me again, I won’t

let you go.”

Henry frowned. He didn’t know if what she said was true or not. His grandfather had a close relationship with the Green family.
