Chapter 98
Chapter 98
As soon as he mentioned it, her eyes immediately lit up. “Okay, let’s do it!”
There was no need to think about it.
Elizabeth’s rage was extinguished by Samuel’s question somehow and turned into guilt.
“Yo… you don’t have the right to ask it.”
“Really?” Samuel approached her. “Don’t you care about Grandpa’s health the most?”
“He wishes me to be together with Henry.”
Samuel felt panicky, lost for words.
But it vanished so fast that he couldn’t think about why he had such a feeling.
“Oh?” Samuel put on an icy expression. “Right. He intended to get you and Henry together.”
Elizabeth raised her eyebrow. “Yes, he’s a good match for me. I would have a child with him now if I hadn’t insisted on marrying
you.”
Samuel put on a more sullen face with an urge to chop her into pieces.
“Do you really think you can marry into the Frank family? Don’t forget what you did!”
Elizabeth made a pose that she deemed charming. “You think Henry’s so shallow as to care only about appearance as you? He told me that he fell in love with me at first sight.”
Although he knew well that she was talking nonsense, Samuel felt her words were unpleasant to hear.
He couldn’t understand why she had the right to show off in front of him.
“Elizabeth, why are you still so naive as you were four years ago? Don’t you know why he gets close to you?”
“He makes me happy at least.”
“He’s better than you no matter what purpose he had.
“Humph, you jerk!” Elizabeth thought.
She walked past Samuel, leaving him behind. “Elizabeth Jones!” Samuel shouted with rage.
With little fear, Elizabeth turned around gracefully. “Samuel, how come you’ve become much worse than four years ago? I remember that you used to be quiet. Why are you so irritable now?”
Irritated, Samuel felt as if he were going to vomit blood. How annoying she was!
“Also, don’t forget my pay,” Elizabeth said, shooting a frosty glance at him. “Transfer the money to my account before nine o’clock tomorrow, or I’ll ask Linda to change her mind.”
Samuel narrowed his eyes. “You can?”
“Let’s wait and see. Don’t ever underestimate your opponent, Samuel.”
Samuel wasn’t worried about it, but he was too upright to act as despicably and shamelessly as Elizabeth.

Chapter 98
“I just want to warn you that you’d better stay away from the Frank family, or you’ll regret it!” he said with exasperation.
“Well.” Elizabeth stared at him calmly with her arms crossed over her chest. “Why do you care so much about me? You’re giving me an illusion that you like me.”
Samuel’s face turned purple with rage and embarrassment.
He couldn’t believe that she was so shameless!
“You wish! I won’t like you even if all the women in the world die.”
“Humph! You’d better be telling the truth.”
Samuel was speechless.
Elizabeth was delighted to humiliate him.
“Samuel York, I’ll never let you win again!” she thought.
At this time, a servant came over and asked Elizabeth to have some midnight snacks.
Samuel checked the time. It was already one o’clock in the morning. In the past four years, he had never stayed up so late. He repeated his life routines day by day, which included working, staying at home, and dating Celia occasionally. He had never slept
over.
And he was used to his ordinary and busy life.
But something had changed since Elizabeth moved in. She made some noise here and broke the rules. Samuel couldn’t believe that he, a man who had always been obsessed with cleanliness, accepted it.
While letting her imagination run wild, Samuel received a call from Leo.
“Mr. York, it’s all done.”
“OK. Is it signed?”
“Yes. The price has been lowered.”
“How much?”
“Three percent every year.”
