Chapter 102
Chapter 102
“She’s gone too far. How shameless she is!”
“I can’t believe she’s so
despicable!”
“I thought she was just quiet and distant.”
“Damn it!”
Celia was satisfied with their
Castic remarks.
Kelvin had to walk up and ask, “What’s going on?”
“Mr. Miller, you’re too gentle. You
don’t have to be polite to her.”
“Just ask her to give it back and send her to the police station.”
“Yes, send her directly to the police station.”
Everyone said in unison.
Elizabeth rolled her eyes, wondering if they had rehearsed it before.
Judging from her expression, Kelvin knew it had nothing to do with Elizabeth. However, he must figure out a way to clear her name. All the colleagues were watching, after all.
“Mr. Miller, just do as they say,” Elizabeth said calmly. “Aren’t the police good at solving cases? It shouldn’t be difficult for them to
find out the true thief.”
Everyone was speechless.
They didn’t expect Elizabeth to be so calm and have no objection to calling the police.
Noticing things went in an unexpected way, Celia hurriedly said in a low voice, “Don’t push her too hard. I believe in her. She must
have her reason.”
“Celia, you are too kind. Don’t forget she stole
your
bracelet!”
“And she refused to give it back
you. How can you
endure it?”
“But Mr. Miller…” Someone tried to speak up for Celia again.
Kelvin’s face turned cold. “What? You don’t even listen to me?”
“Mr. Miller, we must do Celia justice.”
“Yes, Mr. Miller. You know ho
important that bracelet is to her?” someone else echoed.
“You should ask Elizabeth to give it back to Celia, at least.”
“That’s right.”
Kelvin felt speechless.
Kelvi
got stuck in a dilemma again. He wondered how many benefits they had received from Celia so that all of them ignored the risk of being fired and spoke for her.

Chapter 102
The filming was about to end in three days at most, and it was being edited.
He hadn’t expected such a mess.
“Please don’t make things difficult for Liz. I believe she has her reasons,” Celia said.
“Bah!” Elizabeth thought.
Elizabeth wished she could tear Celia’s mouth apart!
“Celia, you’re too kind. She doesn’t worth your forgiveness.”
“Yes, Celia. You don’t have to be soft–hearted.”
“If you don’t teach her a lesson this time, she’ll do it again.”
“That’s right. You can’t let her go!”
Celia looked at them with grateful tears brimming in her eyes. “Thank you for speaking for me. But I believe Liz must have her
reasons. She didn’t do it on purpose.
Let’s forget about it as long as she gives it back to me.”
Elizabeth was speechless
“I didn’t steal it,” Elizabeth said flatly as if she were not the one who had been trapped.
“I’m happy to call the police and clear my name. Miss Dodson, we’d better leave it to the police.”
She then looked at Kelvin. “Mr. Miller, can you give me some time?”
Kelvin nodded in relief since she looked so calm.
A sinister glint flashed across Celia’s eyes.
“Well, can we start filming now? Don’t you want to finish filming and get your salary as soon as possible?” Elizabeth tried to persuade them.
In a panic, Celia quickly winked at Nancy.
If Elizabeth called the police, her plan wouldn’t work.
“Go ahead with your work, guys. We can’t delay our work because of a bracelet,” Nancy said, “Celia, why don’t we start filming first? See how anxious Mr. Miller is.”
Celia took the out. “I’m sorry for the trouble, guys. Mr. Miller, I’ll go and prepare for filming now.”
Celia intended to get away with it.
