The screen was made of elaborately carved wood with rose embroidery. It had six panels, stood about six feet tall, and was around ten feet wide. The embroidery was handmade, with tiny stitches and tastefully dyed colors.
Audrey gently patted Sunny's head and softly asked, "Sunny, do you like this screen?"
Sunny kept his eyes on the screen but shook his head.
Audrey paused, confused for a moment. Then, a sudden thought came to her. She softly asked, "Does Grandma like it?"
Sunny nodded.
Audrey was thrilled. After looking closer at the screen and feeling it was nice and presentable, she asked the shop owner, "How much is this screen?"
The shop owner squinted his eyes. He smiled and said, "If you're interested, I'll give you a reasonable price: 93 thousand."
The price seemed reasonable, not too outrageous. Audrey immediately decided to buy it.
Just as Audrey was about to pay, a stunningly attractive woman suddenly walked in from outside. Standing against the light, the woman pointed arrogantly at the screen and said to the shop owner, "I want this screen."
Noticing that the woman who came in completely ignored her, Audrey felt slightly displeased. She spoke up, "Excuse me, lady, I saw this screen first."
The woman removed her large sunglasses from the bridge of her nose, looking Audrey up and down with a gradually disdainful expression.
The woman thought, 'A poor person dares to compete with me. What an overestimation of herself.' She sneered slightly, smirked, and arrogantly said, "So what if you saw it first? I can pay first and even offer double the price."
Then she pulled out her card and handed it to the store owner, saying, "This card doesn't require a PIN, just swipe away."
Audrey frowned deeply.
