My Substitute CEO Bride (Nash Calicraft) novel Chapter 1064

Chapter 1064

Cal forced a smile, and Nash nodded expressionlessly. He had

listened to every word Hera said earlier. It was evident that Cal had

made a significant mistake that led to the equipment not being

purchased on time.

Baroque was in their golden development age, having taken on a heap

of orders. If production could not keep up and supply could not be met, it would have a huge impact on the company.

Although Sagen, Olivia, and Universal Group might overlook it for the

sake of keeping up Baroque’s reputation, Hera would not allow such mistakes under her leadership.

Cal had thought of getting Nash to persuade Hera. However, seeing Nash’s indifferent demeanor, he swallowed his words. Nash turned

and headed toward Hera’s office.

It had been a long time since he last visited Baroque. He remer when he first came to the company, Hera was just a timid and president. Helena had even forced Hera to kneel in the presi office.

In just two months, Hera had completely transformed. She was n the Ice Queen of the company, but at home, she was still a gentle wife.

Nash reclined on the couch, closing his eyes to rest. Suddenly, his brows furrowed deeply.

Standing up, Nash walked to Hera’s desk and punched open the

keyboard before retrieving a black bug from inside it. Coldness flashed through Nash’s eyes before he searched for the contact number of the head of security through the directory sheet on the

desk.

First, he used his spiritual power to block the bug’s signals and the

pinhole cameras. Then, he dialed the security head’s number.

“Hello, this is the security department!”

“It’s Nash Calcraft. Come to the president’s office.”

“Understood!”

Nash hung up the phone, sat in Hera’s chair, and closed his eyes. He used his spiritual power to search for other bugs. A moment passed, and he opened his eyes again. His brows furrowed even tighter together.

To his surprise, there were seven bugs and three pinhole cameras hidden in Hera’s office.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

“Come in!” Nash responded.

The head of security entered, dressed in camouflage clothes. He radiated an air of heroism. He stood with his back straight in front the desk and greeted, “Mr. Calcraft!”

“How long have you been discharged?”

Nash could tell at a glance that this person had served in the military.

“Three years!”

“Have you been to the president’s office before?”
