My Substitute CEO Bride (Nash Calicraft) novel Chapter 1176

Chapter 1176

“My father bought this pendant from a jewelry shop. How could it contain negative energy?

“Also, were you trying to scare me when you said I wouldn’t make it past the next week?”

Tina was not angry, nor was she screaming or shouting at Nash. She merely sounded doubtful.

“You can always choose not to believe me!”

Nash smiled wryly as he shrugged.

He was only helping Tina because she knew Melody.

It was not his problem if she chose not to trust him.

“I trust you!”

Tina gazed intently at Nash’s dark eyes.

His eyes were so dark that they seemed bottomless, and it wa

easy to get lost in them.

What a pity he was married!

The intensity of Tina’s gaze made Melody feel uncomfortable. S

reached a hand out to wave it before Tina’s eyes. “Stop looking. You

eyes are going to fall out of their sockets soon!”

However, Melody was not Nash’s woman.

Why was she feeling so uncomfortable?

Tina returned to her senses. A blush crept up on her tiny face as she said, “Does this mean I’ll be fine as long as I stop wearing this

pendant?”

Nash shook his head. “There’s already a buildup of negative energy inside your body, and it’s constantly engulfing any positive energy inside you. You’ll have to get rid of this energy!”

“Oh? How should I do that? Should I become one with someone

who’s got plenty of positive energy?” Tina asked, a flirtatious look appearing on her face.

“Needling treatment should be sufficient !” Nash said as he smiled

slightly.

Melody gave Tina an exasperated jab. “Damn, girl. When did you become so flirty?”

“Hehe… It’s only because I’ve never met anyone worth flirting with. What’s the matter? Are you jealous?”

Tina grinned.

When Melody recalled how Nash had helped her use the toilet, she blushed profusely as she said stubbornly, “Why would I be jealous?

don’t even like him!”

Tina abruptly wiped the smile off her face and turned away to button her shirt up as she whispered, “Mr. Dune is here!”

Melody looked over and saw Zachariah walking over with two other

men clad in suits.

Zachariah was in his 40s. He was well-dressed, had on a pair of wire-

rimmed glasses, and his hair was combed neatly. He had the air of a distinguished gentleman.

”

Melody smiled as she walked forth and extended her right hand. “ Hello, Mr. Dune…”

Zachariah’s features were arranged in a calm expression as he

graciously shook Melody’s hand. A smile appeared on his face, and he let out a chuckle as he said, “Mr. Stone was considered a genius in the business world, and I’m so happy on his behalf that his daughter is outperforming him!”

“You’re too kind, Mr. Dune. I just hope my father rests easy, bless his

soul!”

Melody smiled an inauthentic smile as she responded.

Zachariah had sounded ever so threatening when he called her to arrange for the meeting this evening

Yet, now that they were meeting in person, he was speaking to her
