Wendy patted her stomach and whined, “I vomited everything out last 

night.” 

Nash pointed to the kitchen and said, “Make yourself at home. Go 

and find something to eat.” 

He then returned to texting. His fingers flew across the screen as he 

replied to Sienna’s message: [You’re coming to Xanthalos?] 

Sienna replied instantly: [Yup! I’m there to film, and Theo said he wanted to visit you.] 

Wendy suddenly said, “I don’t know how to cook…”

Nash chuckled and said, “Fine, I’ll ask someone to bring you food. But seriously, Wendy, you need to learn to be independent. You can’t just expect everything to be handed to you on a silver platter!” 

Nash texted Eric and asked him to order some takeout for Wendy. 

Wendy said again, “I-I want to take a shower!” 

This time, Nash texted Felicity and told her about Wendy’s situation. 

Feeling sorry for her, Felicity readily agreed to help.

Meanwhile, Wendy sat on the couch and stared into space. 

She thought back to the night when her grandfather and fellow

Sienna: [It’s time for take off. I need to switch off my phone. T you later!]

Wendy trembled in fear as she recounted the memory, sadness washing over her once again. 

“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have asked!” Nash apologized sincerely. 

Wendy was just a young woman. He should have been more 

considerate of her feelings, no matter how much he wanted to stud
