Shanice’s reply once again caused a stir in the group. 

Jessica: [Shanice, the audacity you have! Do you know who Blaine is? If not, I suggest you search Normier Group online.] 

Rosen: [That’s right. You’re just a general manager. Even the owner of the Empire Hotel would have to kneel down and lick Blaine’s feet.] 

Regine: [I thought that Shanice would be wiser after becoming the general manager, but she’s still as clueless as before. I don’t know how she became the general manager.] 

Jessica sent a vomiting emoji: [I know! Shanice most likely used her body to get to the top.] 

Aileen: [Yeah, that’s disgusting.] 

Shanice saw the messages in the group. She was so angry that he 

whole body was shaking. 

Tina could not help it anymore. She typed: [Are you done? Before Blaine appeared, all of you tried to flatter her. Now that Blaine is here, you come running to lick his feet. Could you be more shameless?] 

A few snobs in the group continued to type and confront each other. 

In the Porsche car heading to the Empire Hotel, Melody saw the 

messages in the group chat as well. She frowned slightly and replied in the group: [Are you guys still not done yet?] 

These seven short words immediately shocked the group into silence. 

Melody was the leader of the group. She was once a wealthy woman worth tens of billions. 

Her status was higher than any of them even if Stone Group were to go bankrupt. 

The group went quiet for 30 seconds, then Blaine suddenly sent a voice message. “Melody, why didn’t you reply to my message? I made an appointment to have dinner with Mr. Skye tonight. You have to 

come with me!” 

Theo, who was driving, froze. 

He thought, ‘Isn’t this Blaine’s voice? What’s his relationship with Melody? Is he a suitor?’ 

He secretly glanced at Nash from the corners of his eyes. He swallowed hard from the lack of expression on Nash’s face. 

Melody sent a voice reply back, “I’m spending time with my end tonight. If you want to have dinner with Mr. Skye, then con Empire Hotel now.” 

Blaine was stunned. Theo had just told him that he was going to dinner with his friend. Was he referring to Melody? Theo was alre 

married, but it seemed that his heart still longed for another. 

Blaine instantly felt sad. 

If Theo had feelings for Melody, should he even continue to pursue 

her? 

Meanwhile, Theo’s mind was racing as he drove. 

He thought to himself, ‘Mel invited Blaine over… She obviously wants to reject him for good. I’m afraid that Sienna and myself alone are not enough to deter Blaine.’ 

After pondering for a moment, he took out his mobile phone and sent a voice message in a group chat. “Xanthalos Empire Hotel. Let me introduce you to Nash!” 

This group chat was small, with only about ten people in it.
