My Substitute CEO Bride (Nash Calicraft) novel Chapter 1846

Nash checked into the luxurious suite of the Empire Hotel not long ago.

Sherman and another cultivator at the Mystique Loyalty Realm stood outside the door.

Nash used the power from his nascent soul to draw a Soundproof Pattern on the door. Unless it was someone at the peak of the Profound Oriental Realm, it was impossible to hear any sound in the room.

He looked at Theo and asked, "Is there someone watching you?"

Theo said thoughtfully, "Mr. Nash, you must have met Wilcox Schmidt, right?"

"Yes!"

"Then you should know who I truly am. In fact, I belong to the Schmidts from Antaria!"

Theo took out a pack of foreign cigarettes and handed one to Nash before lighting one for himself. After taking a deep breath, he got closer to Nash and whispered, "Someone from the Schmidts wants me to die!"

"Is it Wilcox?"

Nash frowned slightly. He had come into contact with Wilcox, and he could not figure this person out.

Theo shook his head and said, "I don’t think it’s him. Wilcox was the one who told me that the Kleins wanted to harm Hera and her family!”

Nash put the cigarette on the coffee table and looked at Theo deeply. "Could this be a trap deliberately set up by Wilcox and the Kleins? The main goal was to destroy you and the Skye family!”

Theo took several puffs of his cigarette, squinting his eyes thoughtfully. After a moment, he shook his head.

"Wilcox is my brother. He has helped me in business more than once. I don’t think he'd kill his own brother!"

"Are there many people in the Schmidts?" Nash lit a cigarette and asked.

Theo nodded and said, "More than ten branches in the family!"

Nash smiled helplessly. "This is difficult to investigate. I suggest you ask your brother to investigate the matter for you!"

Theo put the half-smoked cigarette in the ashtray, shook his head, and said, "Let's forget it. I'm guessing his situation isn't much better than mine!"

"There are too many disputes among the wealthy families!"

Nash was filled with emotions. Suddenly, he was worried that his children would be fratricidal in the future. After all, he had so many wives. He would have many descendants in the future.

Nash quickly brushed this thought aside. Most of these wealthy families were motivated by profit while his wives did not regard wealth and power as important. He believed that Hera and the ladies would teach their children well.
