“Who is it?! Who’s there?!”

On the site of Heaven and Netherworld, Nash stared intently at the rustling grass in front of him. Although he had lost all his cultivation skills, he was still a pretty good fighter.

“Stop dressing up as a god and playing the devil!” he yelled as he raced into the steppe.

He had not expected the person hiding in the grass to be a beautiful girl with blonde hair and blue eyes. She seemed to be frightened out of her wits. Tears pooled inside her gorgeous blue eyes, and they flowed down her face after Nash scared her.

“Don’t! Don’t kill me! Please, please!”

The girl began begging, her legs shaking because of how frightened she was. There was no place for her to run to.

“Hey… Calm down!”

Nash hurriedly waved his hands as he said, “I’m not a bad guy!”

Upon hearing that, the girl finally stopped begging for her life. She sobbed as she supported herself on a nearby tree to pull herself up to her feet.

“What’s the matter? Why are you so frightened?” Nash asked, a confused look on his face.

“I-It’s nothing… I was just… scared… It’s my first time here… And I was feeling a little scared.”

Nash hurriedly spoke to her comfortingly upon hearing that.

“Don’t be scared. I’m not a villain. Also, my name is Nash. What’s your name?”
