Under the evening street lights, Sterling and Puelo were puffing away. The two chatted about the past as they could not help but recall their time on Phoenix Island.

Puelo continued, "Actually, I was there too during the disaster with the giant trees."

Sterling became curious and asked, "Oh, really? In which territory? Why didn't I notice you at all?"

Puelo continue, "I, as one of the top six in Universal Group, was sent to the Northern Territory."

"The Northern Territory… Oh, I see."

Puelo nodded and explained, "But I was actually of no use. One of my colleagues and I were flying a plane for the boss. However, that colleague was later asked by the boss to cut down the trees.

"When he came back, he complained to me for a long time, saying he would've swapped places with me if he had known earlier."

Sterling chuckled lightly after hearing this. "Haha, you guys are really interesting."

"Right?" Then, Puelo stamped out the cigarette butt.

"Well, Mr. Wickham, what are you going to do next?"

"Me?" Sterling was confused by the question, but he also realized there was something else Puelo was inferring.

Sterling shook his head. "I’m not planning to go anywhere. I’ll just go back to that tiny cabin, where I'll eat and drink as I please without worrying about anything every day."

"Then..." Puelo persisted with his question and asked, "What about you and Lenyra?"

"If she wants to follow me, then I'll let her follow me for now."

Everything Sterling had told Nash and the others before was true. He truly did not know how to deal with Lenyra’s feelings. However, to drive her away now would be unkind.
