pointed toward the director’s office. “He’s in the office.” 

Willow’s steps felt heavy, and it took her quite a while to make her way to the door of the director’s office. Her legs were shaking. She made an effort to calm herself before knocking on the door. 

“Come in.” Nash’s voice sounded from inside the office. 

Willow pushed the door open. Nash was in the office, having tea with Frankie. When they saw Willow enter, they exchanged glances, a hint of surprise in their eyes.

Willow replied calmly, “What kind of attitude do you want me to have when admitting to my mistake, Mr. Calcraft? Should I kneel to you?”
