Nash suspected that Philix was directing those words at him. 

“To be honest, I didn’t even want this kid. Ever since I got this little.

Caleb’s face displayed desperation.

“I didn’t say I wasn’t going to take responsibility. I’m already serving

the North Warden, Grandpa?” Caleb muttered embarrassedly. 

Philix patted Caleb’s shoulder and said emotionally, “It’s time to settle 

down after getting married and having children. You have to take 

responsibility as a father!” 

Caleb was honored. He quickly nodded and vowed, “Of course, I’ll good care of my wife and my child. I’ll be the best husband and 

father!” 

Philix looked a little dazed. He suddenly asked, “Can I carry the child? 

Caleb was taken aback. Without any hesitation, he handed the doll- 

like child to Philix and said, “Of course. It would be the greatest 

blessing of this child’s life!” 

Philix took the child and pinched their chubby cheeks. He said with a 

smile, “Your child is adorable!’ 

While saying that, he entered the door with the child in his arms. 

His back view looked somewhat bleak. 

The look in Santiago’s eyes grew darker. 

Wolfgang never came back after joining the army, and he never saw
