“Nicole, how is the training?” Harvey asked tentatively, hoping Nicole could talk to him.

“Good.” Nicole just gave a one–word reply.

Harvey took a deep breath. “That‘s great. I heard Vivian led other classmates to skip training, and I thought you had a hard time managing them. But I‘m relieved to see that you‘re okay today.”

Nicole did not bother to respond, as she sensed Harvey was just making talk.

Harvey smiled and followed Daniel over and sat down.

“Let‘s talk first. Sean will be back in a minute.” Daniel liked how polite Harvey was.
