Madison instantly felt disgusted. 

She easily got what she once begged to get when she was about to cut ties with him. 

However, she didn’t want it

To avoid any misunderstanding, Madison quickly stepped back. However, as she turned to leave, Neville tightly grabbed her 

wrist.

Creating a “chance encounter” on the plane was one thing, and now she directly chased him to the hotel he was staying in. 

In Neville’s mind, she went to great lengths just to see him. 

However, Madison, weary of the ongoing drama, was no longer interested in playing games with him. 

Her lips twitched. She knew Neville considered every unexpected encounter as her “ploy.” 

She looked up at him and earnestly said, “Neville, if I knew the business partner Ryan mentioned was you, I would never have come knocking on your door.” 

Neville was displeased in his heart, and the force in his grip increased. “Expecting other men, aren’t you? Don’t forget that we’re not divorced yet. If you want to cheat on me, be prepared to face the consequences!” 

Madison couldn’t help feeling somewhat angry. He was obviously the unfaithful one. After all, Alison said she was pregnant with his child. Madison didn’t expect him to act clueless and still have the audacity to accuse her. 

“Neville, you can flirt with Alison, but you won’t allow me to discuss business with male clients. What the F**k is wrong with your mind? 

Neville seemed to finally understand the reasons behind her repeated requests for divorce. He furrowed his brows and said, “Madison, you know, I’ve never been good at pleasing women.” 

Madison sneered, “You’re not bad at pleasing women. You just can’t be bothered to please me.” 

In these three years, she even felt that if he just made up a reason to deceive her, she wouldn’t have become so disheartened. 

Her indifferent expression made Neville uncomfortable, and he said, “So, if you are unhappy with something, just say it. There’s no need to play games in front of me.” 

Madison almost burst out laughing. Did he always think she came here to confront him because she was jealous of Alison? 

She suddenly realized that they were not on the same wavelength at all 

After a while, Madison said seriously, “Neville, once you’ve dealt with the matters in Eatonheim, we’ll get a divorce.” 

Upon hearing the word “divorce,” Neville couldn’t control his emotions. He rudely pulled Madison inside and said, “We were supposed to talk business, right? How come you’ve been standing at the door without mentioning Loveille at all?” 

His expression seemed to suggest that if she couldn’t state the reasons, she was directing at him. 

Madison cursed him in her heart, organized her thoughts, and then took out Loveille’s bid proposal from her bag, handing 

it to him. 

Neville sat on the sofa, crossed his legs elegantly, and picked up a glass of wine, showing no intention of taking the document. He coldly watched her current submissive posture. 

Leaving her there but ignoring the documents was Neville’s usual way of humiliating her. 

Indeed, when it came to humiliating her, Neville was quite skilled. 

Just as Madison was about to explode, Neville indifferently said, “I don’t have the patience to look at this useless document. I’ll give you three minutes. If you’re convincing enough, I might consider giving Loveille a chance” 

Madison took a deep breath and spoke at the fastest pace possible. “Although Loveille doesn’t have a foundation, it has been popular among women since its establishment. Almost every fashion item would be sold out once it was released and set seasonal sales records. This shows that Loveille has the ability to lead trends in the fashion industry. Moreover, the designers. have an extremely keen sense of fashion, resonating with consumers.” 

Neville shook the red wine in his hand and said, “But Elianna hasn’t released any new designs for three years. In these three years, Loveille has been relying on its past achievements. Compared to the old–established Conner Group in the fashion industry, it is indeed lacking in strength.” 

Madison said. “That’s because Elianna retired from the industry three years ago. But please rest assured, Elianna is now coming back, and she will undoubtedly bring a visual impact to the fashion industry. As for the Conner Group you favor, although they have been in the clothing industry for years, they have been on a downward slope in recent years due to the lack of creativity. One is the rising sun, and the other is the setting sun. I believe Fliwip will make a wise choice.” 

Watching Madison confidently speak, Neville suddenly felt a bit absent–minded. 

In his impression, Madison was gentle and reserved and only knew how to deal with everyday household chores. She rarely interacted with people in high society, to the extent that Neville’s friends said Madison had social difficulties. 

It meant that Madison was uneducated, stupid, and weak. In the eyes of his friends, Madison could marry him solely because she had given him a kidney. 

However, Madison now gave him a different feeling. It seemed like this was her arena, and everyone had to submit to her. 

Madison spoke fervently, and when she saw Neville seemingly lost in thought, she couldn’t help but feel angry. 

She knew that he was deliberately messing with her. Whatever she said, he probably didn’t take it to heart. 

“Mr. Preston, I’ve finished speaking. Is there anything else you want to ask?” Madison said. 

She addressed him as Mr. Preston throughout, seemingly creating a clear distance between the two. 

Neville furrowed his brows. “If Ross is in charge of Loveille, why didn’t he show up himself? Why send you, someone with zero relation to Loveille, to speak on his behalf?” 

Madison felt he was deliberately picking faults and, suppressing her anger, said, “Ross is my boss, and I’m just doing my job. As for why, please ask him yourself” 

She was polite to him but addressed Ross by name, which displeased Neville.
