"That's not gonna happen!" Natalia thought.
Thus, she turned him down without hesitation.
"No, I won't kiss you!"
She also turned her head to the other side.
The look in the man's eyes turned cold. He pulled back and stared at her.
Then, he gave a cold sneer.
It sounded like a growl of a certain ferocious beast, which sent a chill down Natalia's spine.
She somehow felt that this sneer was kind of familiar.
The man said coldly, "You're my woman now. We're in the middle of nowhere. Even if I want you right here right now, nobody can stop me. Are you sure you want to defy me?"
Natalia's lips trembled. She looked up at him.
The man was eyeing her steadily with a glacial face.
She found the look in his eyes both utterly strange and extremely familiar.
"How can this be?"
"Why is he looking at me like this?"
"I knew that look. But I haven't seen it for a long time."
"That man... No. It can't be him. He never shows up in a place like this."
Natalia's thoughts were in a muddle. Yet, the man before her leaned in again. He remarked, "I'll give you another chance. Will you kiss me or not?"
Natalia pursed her lips and swallowed.
At this time, she knew she had no choice but to yield.
By now, she was already certain that this man before him was formidable.
She couldn't confront him head-on.
Thus, her determination wavered. Thinking that Nancy was still lying in the carriage with her injured leg, she bowed her head and gave in.
"Fine. I'll kiss you."
Then, she swiftly gave a peck on his cheek.
She cursed in her head at the same time.
"Bah! I did this against my will. Hope this man I kissed will rot in hell!"
She felt much better after avenging herself with the secret curse.
Surely, the man didn't pester her after she kissed him.
Smiling, he drew to his full height and said, "I'll go there and wait for you."
Then, after a short pause, he added, "Don't you think about running away. As you know, your friend is still in our hands."
Natalia nodded to him with a smiley face. That fake smile was simply cloying.
But the man didn't take it to heart. He stalked away after giving her the warning.
He didn't go very far. After taking about five paces, he halted and stood there.
Natalia secretly let out a sigh of relief. She went behind the tree and crouched down.
Of course, she did not really have to pee, so she didn't take off her pants.
She merely squatted there, quietly observing the man.
The man just stood there with his back on to her, showing no sign of turning back to peek at her. Seeing that, Natalia relaxed a bit.
She looked left and right. Then, her eyes fell on a big rock not far away.
It was so big that she must have to carry it with both hands. The edge of the rock was quite sharp. She could guarantee that if this rock hit that man in the head, he would at least pass out.
Arching her back, Natalia sneaked over there and picked the rock up.
Then, still in a huddled position, she walked gingerly toward the man with noiseless steps.
The man was standing there, his hands clasped behind his back.
In the warm morning sunshine, he somehow seemed forlorn but gorgeous.
