Natalia then had breakfast with them and Nancy.
The strange man was relieved that she was obedient.
He asked Natalia a few questions while eating and she answered them all, which made him overjoyed.
Natalia gave Felix a meaningful gaze.
Felix noticed it but didn't respond at once. He pretended not to see it and looked away.
Natalia glared at him in annoyance but couldn't do anything about it.
After eating, she got a chance to speak with Felix in private.
Felix was smoking by the window.
He was dressed in scruffy old clothes, but he looked like a noble medieval prince.
Natalia looked at him for a moment and shook her head.
She thought that she must be losing her mind to have pictured him as a prince.
She walked over to Felix and said directly to him, "I want to call Archie."
Felix looked at her with an expressionless face.
Natalia knew well that he wouldn't refuse her.
He nodded, "Okay, I'll help."
Natalia frowned.
Why was Felix so nice today?
She was silent for a moment before asking, "What brought you here?"
Felix said, "Didn't I tell you I was here to save you?"
Natalia gave a wry smile.
"You mean you were around, met me, and saved me by coincidence? You said you were in Ambario when I called you from Othua, didn't you?"
Felix looked at her and narrowed his eyes slightly.
He curled up his lips and said, "Are you questioning my motives?"
His voice was cold and unmistakable.
Natalia froze.
She suddenly realized that he was angry.
He was kind enough to save her, but she questioned him.
If that happened to her, she would be angry too.
She couldn't help but sigh.
Thinking that he might misunderstand her, she said in a nicer tone, "Oh. Don't take this the wrong way. I mean..."
After a pause, she said seriously, "I'm kinda worried about you, Felix. We didn't quite get along before for a lot of things, but we're still friends, right?"
Felix looked at her in silence.
Natalia said, "I'm really grateful that you saved me. Let me know if you need my help, okay?"
Felix just squinted at her silently.
The early morning sun shone on the smile on his face.
After a while, he said, "I don't need your help."
After a pause, he chuckled.
He said, "Don't worry. I came to meet someone. That's why I dressed like this."
He deliberately pointed at his clothes and said, "Well, you know who I am. This could save me from a lot of troubles."
Natalia breathed a sigh of relief.
Of course."
She looked back at an old wall clock.
She asked, "When can I call Archie?"
