In the Tiger World, a staff was asking for all visitors to maintain order with a megaphone, "Order please! Don't squeeze! Parents, take care of your kids. Our lucky draw event will start soon. The winner can take a photo with the tigers!"
Bonny took a look at her badge and asked, "My number is 28. Brandon, what about you?"
Brandon murmured, "30."
In order not to let Bonny down, Pearl reminded Bonny in advance. "Bonny, you have to be very lucky to get be chosen. Promise me you won't be angry if not, okay? We can also a photo with the tiger statue near the entrance later."
Bonny nodded seriously. "I won't get angry. I've already seen the tigers anyway. Do you want to see it? I can see it clearly from up here, Brandon."
Richard was surprised when she asked her brother if he wanted a clearer view of the tigers. Richard's shoulder could only hold one child, while Bonny was willing to give up her spot for Brandon. Richard always thought children of Bonny's age were usually self-centred."
Bonny was usually quite playful and it was her brother who would always give in. However, she would still think of sharing things she liked with Brandon.
But Brandon shook his head, "No. I can see it from here."
Richard looked down and saw Brandon standing silently between him and Pearl. He could only see the giant tiger inside its cage. However, when the crowd moved and there was no consistent gap between them, his view was significantly blocked.
Pearl had always treated her children equally, but now she had no way to let Brandon to see it as well.
At the same moment, Richard whispered something to Bonny and she hopped down from his shoulder voluntarily.
"She's heavy, isn't she?" Pearl said to Richard apologetically. She then reminded Bonny, "You've seen the tiger, haven't you? Now be a good girl."
But Bonny blinked at her, indicating for her to look at Richard.
Then Pearl heard Richard ask: "Brandon, do you want to see the tigers?"
As she looked up, she saw Richard bending down with his hand placed on Brandon's shoulder. Richard's large figure overshadowed the boy's tiny body. Now Richard's black eyes looked inexplicably amiable.
Brandon was in deep thought. Then he shook his head and answered, "No, it's okay."
"No?"
"Yep. Besides, I don't really like tigers."
"No, he's lying. He likes tigers the most!" Bonny interrupted, exclaiming, "Even his favourite doll is a tiger! He holds it every night he sleeps!"
Bonny's revelation made Brandon's face blush. He frowned and knitted his lips together tightly.
To her surprise, Richard smiled and lifted Brandon up without a word. Now Brandon was sitting on Richard's shoulders.
Stunned, Pearl nervously looked at her son.
As a his mom, she had never known much about Brandon's preferences. She had thought that the tiger doll on his bed was placed by Bonny. She didn't know that it actually belonged to Brandon since he always had a dispensable attitude towards his belongings. It was hard for her to accurately tell what he liked or disliked.
Richard didn't bother about Brandon's feelings when he placed the boy on his shoulder. Pearl was surprised by this and was afraid that Brandon might get mad.
