Timothy couldn’t believe what he was hearing.
He thought, ‘Has Trevon lost his mind? For such a woman who is nothing more than a trophy wife and totally unworthy of
hum
He marrying Selina was just to silence the gossipmongers. It is ludicrous to tarnish the reputation of Insight Group and the Brady family over such a trivial figure!
And the elders in the Brady family would never allow Trevon to act this way! How could Trevon remain so calm?
And to say it was all his doing? That had to be a joke!”
“If there’s nothing else, I’m hanging up,” added Trevon.
“Wait–But before Timothy could finish, Trevon had already ended the call.
The disconnected tone echoed in Timothy’s ears, leaving him petrified.
Cora, who had heard everything, slammed her coffee cup onto the floor in anger, “Damn it, what is Trevon playing at? Selina’s running wild, and he doesn’t lift a finger to stop her!”
Timothy collected himself, “Mom, don’t get worked up. It’s impossible that Trevon wouldn’t intervene. He probably just doesn’t want to show any weakness in front of us.”
“Even so, what kind of attitude is that? His wife is running around like a mad dog, biting everyone, and he, as her husband, treats the victims with such disdain! It’s infuriating! Cora seethed with anger.
“It’s fine. Even if we don’t see Selina getting disciplined, as long as we know she won’t get away with it, that’s enough.” Timothy was quite philosophical about it.
As a man, he understood that Trevon couldn’t show any weakness in public. If he couldn’t keep his composure over such trivial matters, how could he lead the Brady family?
But what happened behind closed doors and how Trevon would discipline Selina once they were home was another matter,

When Selina returned to Insight Group and entered Trevon’s office, Herbert reported the day’s events at the charity auction, waiting for Trevon’s feedback, only to be dismissed with a nonchalant “hm.”
Herbert was left puzzled. He wondered, ‘His dismissal didn’t make sense unless he was trying to get rid of me so he could get cozy with Selina? No way, right?
But in the last second before the door closed, Herbert caught Trevon getting close to Selina.
Herbert cried inwardly, ‘Oh my god!”
Selina, lying in Trevon’s arms, toyed with her latest acquisition, “Honey, this isn’t just valuable–it should look pretty good on me too. I’m thinking of putting together a vintage outfit to go with these crescent earrings. It should look stunning.”
“Perfect. I’d like to see that.”
Trevon, too, recognized the earrings weren’t just any ordinary 15 million dollar piece. Having been raised in the Brady family, he had a keen eye for antiques, though he couldn’t determine the exact era of the crescent earrings. It was no wonder they were such a steal at the auction.
Honey, since when did you get into antiques! Trevon asked, intrigued, perhaps uncovering another layer to Selina like an antique appraiser.

Selina rolled her eyes. “You think the inspiration for my jewelry designs comes out of thin air? Sometimes, I browse through Clusian jewelry designs from various dynasties. I have a photographic memory, and the design of these crescent earrings really stuck with me.”
“You are so impressive!” Trevon praised genuinely, hugging her closer, “About that reward you promised?”
Trevon had been looking forward to it, especially since he had let Selina attend the charity auction for hours…
“Alright, here you go.” Selina, wrapping her arms around Trevon’s neck, delivered a sweet kiss
After the kiss, Trevon, still not satisfied, frowned slightly. That’s? How about a few more?”
Selina kissed him a few more times.
exchange.
After spending so much time together, their relationship had warmed considerably. Selina had no qualms about meeting Trevon’s slightly excessive demands with satisfactory kisses.
Seeing how well–behaved Selina was, Trevon didn’t push further playfully flicking her nose, Tonight, I’ll make you my homemade chocolate cupcakes.
Selina’s eyes lit up at the mention of treats, “Hurray, I knew you were the best!”
Trevon smiled. “Speaking of which you had fun today? Timothy even called me earlier, trying to tattle on you.”
“Wow, what a loser! Can’t argue or fight me, so runs to tattle to others. Hilarious! Clark Group will probably go bankrupt sooner or later, sneered Selina.
Selina was flabbergasted by the absurdity, disgusted that the Harvey family had once arranged for her to marry Timothy. feeling it tainted her resume.
“Speaking of which, weren’t you engaged to the Clark family?” said Trevon
Trevon narrowed his eyes dangerously, though now Selina was lus. A man’s possessiveness wasn’t something easily quelled. Selina, touching Trevon’s cheek, teased, “Hmm? Jealous? Envious? Feeling possessive?”
