What Charley said was realistic. Selina nodded in agreement. “It’s really ridiculous, but good thing I’m out of the fire.” 

She thought that if she returned to the Harvey family incognito, she could be treated sincerely and cared for by her family. If they cared about her only because of her capability and alias, however, Selina would rather not have such a family! 

Meanwhile, Ashley caught up with Joseph. “Joseph, what you just said to Selina… What did you mean?” she asked. 

“Nothing special. It’s just that Selina has been targeting us. I want to know what she thinks, so I just asked her.” Joseph pretended to be indifferent, but truthfully, he knew deep down that he cared a lot!

However, Joseph simply acknowledged it and left Ashley alone. Now, he was thinking only about Selina, not Ashley!

For many years, no other show would be able to break the record–high ratings of the first episode of the fourth season of “Serenity of Rural Life.” 

After that, Joseph’s and Ashley’s Twitter accounts officially announced their withdrawal from the fourth season of “Serenity of Rural Life.” Selina and the other participants also withdrew. There would be new guests to join in the live stream of the second episode of the show. It was basically a major change. 

It was impossible to replicate such a spectacle again. The VIP guest lineup and highly topical controversies were destined to become legendary in the entertainment industry. 

Some viewers were already speculating about Selina and the other participants‘ withdrawal from the show. Joseph and Ashley naturally wanted to avoid Selina. Joseph, you’ve changed after you confronted Selina on the variety show. Did something happen?” asked Manuel again. 

“Nothing happened,” Joseph replied after pausing. 

Since Joseph didn’t want to go any deeper about this topic, Manuel stopped asking questions and quietly drove his car. 

The word “Selina” was about to become taboo in the Harvey family. Once it was mentioned, everyone would react to some degree. It was impossible to go back to the way things used to be.
