It was Timothy! 

Selina’s fiancé! 

Selina narrowed her eyes unpleasantly. 

She didn’t expect to bump into Timothy here. 

As for that so–called Mr. Harvey… 

That must be Quinton! 

Selina was surprised that Quinton hadn’t given up on winning Manuel’s case… 

Selina smiled contemptuously. 

She thought with a sneer, “That’s right. How possibly would Quinton stand to have his boy’s life tarnished?‘ 

However, if he wanted to ruin Selina’s reputation… 

That was not gonna happen! 

“Selina, what do you want to eat?” asked Nora. 

Nora was about to pass the menu to Selina. 

Selina made a gesture of silence to Nora. 

Though confused, Nora did as Selina said obediently. 

She stared at Selina with her beautiful big eyes. 

On the other hand, Timothy still had no idea that the person behind him was Selina. With a frown, he said worriedly, “Mr. Harvey, Ashley came to me the day after it happened, and I’ve contacted every major attorney I know in Mumzik. They’ve all refused to defend your son after hearing Malcolm’s name, especially after learning that the evidence is so unfavorable… Since the trial is tomorrow, I’m afraid there’s only one way for you.” 

Quinton snapped, “I know it’s hard, but that’s my son! How can I let his life be tainted? If I’let it happen, it’s an admission of defeat to Selina! Damn, Selina! I should never have taken her back to the Harvey family. She was so heartless that she got her own brother put in jail!” 

Quinton was furious when she talked about Selina. These days, Quinton sought help all over to get his son’s sentence waived and even got several blisters on the corners of his mouth. However, he

got nothing. Every lawyer he’d come to had turned him down after they’d heard Malcolm’s name, 

Every lawyer Quinton turned to gave the same conclusion as Timothy’s: Quinton should seek an outsof court settlement rather than a lawsuit, or ask Manuel to confess to minimize the penalty. 

Manuel would only be held in custody for a short period of time considering, he didn’t commit a felony, but that would mean he’d have to admit what he did, which could damage his reputation a lot. As a result, Quinton had to get a lawyer to prove that Manuel was innocent even though he 

wasn’t 

To find out about Malcolm’s residence and to bribe him, Sara and Ashley were humiliated by Selina and Malcolm, which caused a scandal. The Harvey Group’s PR department managed to suppress the scandal in time. Otherwise, the consequences would have been dire, Quinton just couldn’t hold back his anger at the thought of what Selina did! 

Timothy sighed, “I know Manuel, and he is not the kind of man who would do something so despicable, Selina must have purposely provoked Manuel… Mr. Harvey, no offense, but I advised you not to seek Selina back then even if she was still alive because you were already estranged from each other” 

Quinton muttered, “I know. We already have Ashley and we don’t need another daughter, but I’m doing this for Sara. She’s always having nightmares about Selina. I brought Selina back just to save Sara from her nightmares. I thought she was just a country girl and the best she could get was to be part of the Harvey family and get a piece of the inheritance, I never thought she was that evil!” 

Heh… 

Selina sneered, 

She thought furiously, ‘So that’s the truth? 

It turned out that in Quinton’s eyes, Selina, his biological daughter, was just the culprit of his wife’s nightmare. 

Selina didn’t understand why. She was a human being, Quinton and Sara’s biological daughter. If they decided to get her back, why did they see her as a jinx? Why were they treating her like a mortal enemy and a servant they could torture at will? 

They took Selina’s desire for kinship as a weakness to be used and trampled on Selina’s dignity at will. In this pathetic game of family love, Selina was the only victim and the rest of the Harvey family were the victims. They never recognized Sella as their family from the start and they despised her. 

This was ridiculous! 

While furious, Selina was glad for the encounter because now she finally knew why the Harvey family had brought her back. Selina had been trained in her hearing by Jeffrey, so she was able to

hear their conversation even through a screen, as long as she stayed still and breathed evenly. 

Though Selina didn’t hear their full conversation, she already knew what they meant! 

Then, Timothy continued, “Mr. Harvey, it’s useless to be remorseful when it’s already happened. Fortunately, Selina was in the Harvey family for a short time, so she didn’t have the chance to get in touch with further information that could jeopardize the Harvey family.” 

Quinton didn’t tell Timothy that Selina and Trevon were married and living together. After all, Selina was still nominally Timothy’s fiancée even though everyone knew the engagement would be broken off sooner or later. However, since they hadn’t officially broken off the engagement, Selina’s marriage would disgrace the Clark family if it was exposed. 

Quinton was hesitant about when to tell the Clark family that Selina was married to Trevon. Also, Quinton thought that Trevon must be crazy to marry the unwanted daughter of the Harvey family. Selina didn’t even have a junior high school diploma! 

Quinton said in a serious tone, “You can rest assured about this. Timothy, thank you for helping me contact all these lawyers. In that case… I know what to do.”
