Natural Disaster: I Started By Hoarding Tens Of Billions Of Supplies novel Chapter 536

As he changed clothes, Jiang Chen said, "The others are already waiting outside. Quickly change your clothes, and we will leave this place."

Following his command, the three female team members swiftly changed into their black combat suits and armed themselves, while Yao Ran simply put on a coat over her white shirt.

Once they were ready, Jiang Chen checked outside and, seeing no one, signaled to Yao Ran and the others. "Let's go."

Along the way, Yao Ran saw staff members and soldiers lying motionless on the ground. Some had ice spikes stabbed into their hearts, while others were frozen stiff. Knowing this was likely Jiang Chen's work, she couldn't help but glance at him.

Outside the dormitory, the rest of the team members were already waiting for them.

The moment they saw Jiang Chen approaching together with Yao Ran and the others, one of them quickly reported, "Captain, we just received an update from headquarters. Captain Long has already found where Chairman Yao is being held and is waiting for our signal before making a move."

Jiang Chen's eyes lit up at this and asked, "Have you found Gao Shuwei's location?"

"Not yet, but we have mapped out the positions of the other senior officers," the team member replied.

Jiang Chen thought for a second before giving his orders. "Split into teams of two and take out those senior officers. Four of you will go and add fuel to the chaos. When you are done, leave this place and regroup with Captain Wu."

Everyone nodded and responded in unison. "Yes, Captain."

After they split up, Jiang Chen turned to Yao Ran and said, "Eldest Young Lady, I will escort you out of here."

Yao Ran shook her head and responded, "No need. I will join A Yu in saving my grandfather while you and the others take care of The Ark's soldiers and senior officers."

Since they were short on manpower, Jiang Chen didn't insist. He nodded and reminded her. "Alright. Be careful."

Yao Ran nodded. "You too."

After parting ways with Jiang Chen, Yao Ran found a place to hide and contacted Long Yu.

As soon as the call connected, she asked, "A Yu, where are you?"

Long Yu's voice came a second later. "I'm near the dormitory."

Hearing this, Yao Ran quickly said, "A Yu, I heard from Captain Jiang that you have found my grandfather's location. I want to go and save him."

Long Yu was silent for a moment before saying, "I will come pick you up now. Wait for me."

With that, he ended the call.

Before long, Yao Ran felt a presence behind her and turned around—just in time to see Long Yu land. Without a word, she reached for him and wrapped her arms around his neck.

Long Yu encircled her waist with his arm and whispered, "Hold on tight."

After saying that, he controlled the wind and lifted them into the sky.

Seeing that no one noticed them as they soared above the city, Yao Ran curiously asked, "A Yu, how is it that no one can see us?"

Long Yu nodded and added, "A Xuan is guarding your grandfather right now. If anything happens, he can teleport him away."

Feeling relieved, Yao Ran nodded. "Thank you, A Yu, for finding my grandfather."

Long Yu smiled and responded, "I didn't do much. We found him, thanks to everyone's help."

Just as he finished speaking, a notification sound chimed from his watch.

Ding!

Long Yu halted midair, controlling the wind to keep them suspended, and opened the message.

[To all agents: We have dispatched reinforcements to The Ark's headquarters. They will arrive in four hours. Bombing will commence as soon as they arrive. Evacuate immediately.]

Long Yu and Yao Ran exchanged glances after reading the message.

"The headquarters wasn't informed about our plan?" Yao Ran asked while frowning.

Long Yu's brows also furrowed slightly as he replied, "No, I told them last night. Besides them, Captain Wu and Brother Xu also knew about our plan to take over the city."

"Then why do they still want to bomb it?" Yao Ran asked with a hint of doubt in her voice.
