The next day, Alex decided it was time to have a serious conversation with his mother about his upcoming wedding plans. He dialed her mumber, anticipation building as he waited for her to answer.

Alex chuckled, repeating what he had told his mother earlier. “Lisa wanted it this month, and the venue’s only available then.” Christian grinned, realizing the significance of Alex’s announcement. “So, what do you need me to do?”
“I want you to be my best man,” Alex said with a smile.
Christian joked, “Well, I guess you don’t have any other friends, do you?”
