Claire shook her head, still amused. “Oh, just something I read,” she replied cryptically, not wanting to delve into the gossip. 

Matthew raised an eyebrow but decided not to press further. “Anyway, I wanted to let you know that I have located the person who tried to hack into Cryptonic. They’re at Harris Company,” he informed her, switching to a more serious topic. 

Claire’s interest was immediately piqued as her expression turn serious. “Harris Company? You mean Alexander Harris company?” she clarified wondering if it’s the same Hamis she has in mind. 

Matthew nodded. “Yes, exactly.” 

Claire frowned, deep in thought “why would Alex try and hack into my system?” 

Matthew leaned against the edge of Claire’s office desk, his brow furrowed. “Do you think Alex lows about you being The Raven?” he asked, his voice low. 

Claire paused, considering his question before shaking her head. “No, he doesn’t know. I’ve kept that part of my life completely separate. How would he even find 

out? 

“Well, considering he’s trying to hack into our system, it makes me wonder what he’s after,” Matthew replied, his mind working through the possibilities. 

Claire sighed, crossing her arms thoughtfully. “I’ve never shared about me being The Raven with anyone else besides you and Talia.”

As Matthew prepared to leave, Claire stopped him with a question of her own. “Do you know the hacker who hack into my system?” she inquired; her eyes fixed on 

his. 

Matthew shook his head. “I tried but since you send whoever the pen 

person is a virus I couldn’t track him down. I have a feeling his laptop I dead,” 

Claire rolled her eyes playfully. “Well, next time I will send the person a less destructive virus.” She joked. 

Matthew chuckled despite the situation “Please do,” he replied with a grin
