She had already decided her fate the moment she accepted this mission, embarking on this journey to save her son and sacrifice herself.
Behind her, a convoy of vehicles sped forward with Jared in the leading car. While tracking Sasha's car, he was becoming increasingly anxious.
"Faster! Faster!" Jared had to ensure his sister's safety.
After driving for over six miles, Sasha suddenly turned onto a narrow mountain road. She had no idea where it led, but Calvin, who was following her, kept feeding her instructions through the phone.
She eventually saw the cliff's edge and was terrified. She slammed on the brakes, bringing the vehicle to a halt. She got out of the car while trembling, opened the trunk, and found a delicate figure lying there. Willow's pretty face came into view as Sasha came closer. She kneeled before Calvin, her voice trembling. "Please spare my son and husband. I beg you. I've done as you asked, so please spare them."
Calvin smirked and pointed in a direction before saying, "They're over there. Go save them yourself!"
Sasha ran toward the direction he had pointed at and found her son and husband tied up under a tree. She cried as she approached them and quickly reached out to untie the pair.
After she removed the cloth from her son's mouth, he cried. "Mom, what's going on?"
She removed the cloth from her husband's mouth as well, and he asked, "What have you gotten us into? Do you know we almost died because of you?"
"After I untie you both, you need to leave from this direction and stop asking questions," Sasha instructed them.
Meanwhile, Calvin bent down in front of Willow and said, "Jasper has good taste for choosing such a beautiful girl. It's a pity he won't get to spend more time with you."
Willow was beginning to regain consciousness, and when she opened her eyes, she suddenly saw a menacing face. She recoiled in fear and asked angrily, "Who the hell are you?!"
"You probably know me," Calvin replied.
She soon realized he was the one who had attacked her family. She sat up in the trunk, wanting to get out of the car.
Calvin suddenly grabbed her by the throat and lifted her out. Willow had never experienced such treatment before. She felt an immediate choking sensation and struggled while slapping the man's hand, unable to catch her breath.
He tossed her onto a grassy area nearby and sneered. "Do you think you can escape from me?"
"My family won't spare you if you kill me. My boyfriend will also hunt you to the ends of the earth," Willow retorted angrily.
Calvin chuckled coldly. "Your boyfriend? Jasper?"
Willow fell silent and refused to answer him. She was only thinking about finding an opportunity to escape. Just then, she felt her necklace, and a strong sense of concern immediately hit her.
This necklace contained a tracking device belonging to Jasper, so he was probably on his way right now.
No, don't come looking for me, Jasper.
Before she could fully come to her senses, Calvin forcefully pulled her up again. Her wrists were handcuffed within seconds, with the other end chained to the car door beside her. She was now unable to escape.
"Let me go!" Willow demanded angrily.
Calvin returned to his car, took out a computer, and saw a red dot less than half a mile away from their location. He smirked coldly, for Jasper had finally arrived.
At this moment, a convoy of speeding vehicles raced down the narrow road. Both Jasper and Jared had arrived.
Jasper's car sped forward, leading the way. When he saw Willow leaning against the car frame, his heart was instantly gripped with pain and anxiety. His eyes were also filled with concern and worry.
