“A Woman.”
Ezekiel finally let out a sigh of relief. “How old is she?”
“Um, quite young.”
Never once did Ezekiel think that this young woman could be Harmony, so he didn’t ask any more questions.
He went outside to accompany his mother. Sophia exuded charm and grace. Despite being over fifty, she appeared at least fifteen years younger. When she saw her son approaching, she smiled and said, “Ezekiel, come and have a cup of tea with me.”
“Mom, how long do you plan on staying this time?” Ezekiel asked.
“I might stay for a while. To keep your grandma company.” Sophia looked gently at her son.
“Mom, later, I will introduce someone to you, someone you will definitely like.”
“Oh! Really? That’s wonderful!” Sophia nodded.
Inside the gala, Harmony had already changed into an evening gown provided by the sponsor. That night, all the artists were doing their best to shine. This was a beauty contest, and the female artists were putting in extra effort to attract attention.
Harmony, on the other hand, was simply dressed in a conservative green dress.
She looked at the message sent by Ezekiel, her red lips pursed, holding back tears. Seeing this, Sera quickly came over with a tissue. “Oh, sweetheart, you mustn’t break down now! Your makeup is worth a fortune!”
Harmony couldn’t help but laugh at her comment, taking a deep breath and saying, “Alright, got it, I won’t ruin this makeup.”
“It’s almost time for you to walk the red carpet. Remember to keep a beautiful smile and don’t let the media notice anything unusual.”
Harmony nodded. “I know. I will do well.”
Seeing her still looking at her phone, Sera couldn’t help but say, “Why don’t you reply to Mr. Weiss? He might be worried about you.”
