She’s now missing, and her phone number has been deactivated.”

“Yes, I’ll look into it right away.”

Henry became immediately worried when he realized it was Travis’ daughter. Travis was a Southern Plains general who died in service to his country. His daughter must not suffer any harm.

He could pretty much guess that it might be connected to phone chips, but he did not understand or, to put it another way, knew nothing about this element of phones.
