Elisa's brows instantly furrowed tightly. She had been busy experimenting and hadn't eaten anything. She was feeling slightly hungry now.
She hesitated for a moment before walking back to the kitchen.
She saw Gareth sitting on the couch in the living room, not in a rush to go to his room. She thought about it and took something out of the refrigerator.
She closed the refrigerator and started to reheat the pizza. Not long after, it was done.
Elisa took the reheated pizza out and put it on the table.
Gareth naturally went to wash his hands and walked over when he smelled the aroma.
When he saw Elisa pass him a plate, Gareth said nothing as he took it from her.
The two sat across from each other and had no intentions of speaking.
Elisa tucked a strand of hair that had fallen to the side of her face behind her ears. She took a slice of pizza and blew on it before eating.
Gareth wasn't in a hurry to eat. Instead, he looked at her.
Such a peaceful scene between them was rare.
As for Elisa… Every time they were close, it was as though he could feel her spines bristle. If he approached, they would prick him without hesitation.
Gareth pursed his lips and looked down at the pizza on his plate.
He didn't like pizza.
In the past, Elisa would always consider his tastebuds when she cooked.
But today, he didn't know if she had forgotten or if she did it out of convenience. She had utterly ignored his food preference.
Elisa saw that he wasn't eating, so she asked casually, "Aren't you hungry?"
Gareth didn't answer her. He picked up the slice of pizza.
But he had just taken a bite when astonishment flickered across his eyes.
Does reheated pizza taste like this?
