Chapter 1178 The Price of a Date
If Gareth weren't her grandson, she would have beaten him up.
Although she had heard Gareth's statement, she was eager for him to repeat it as an affirmation. After all, the couple had gone through a rough patch.
Receiving no response from Gareth, Julia asked, "Also, are you guys keeping anything else from me? But I'm glad enough you guys are dating. Go ahead and do whatever you want!"
Julia looked delighted but didn't stop worrying as something seemed off. She had been pondering upon their matter recently, so she couldn't stop sizing them up.
However, Gareth did not give the answer that Julia was anticipating. He looked at her and continued, "We also came here today for another matter."
Julia frowned. "I don't care about that. I just want to know if you guys went on a date just now."
To Julia, a couple would only go on a date after they had confirmed their status.
Elisa's eyes flickered, but she remained quiet.
Gareth arched his brows and hummed in response. "Mm-hmm."
Julia's eyes lit up. She was overjoyed with Gareth's response because he willingly admitted he and Elisa were dating.
Julia looked at Elisa excitedly. Seeing the latter with her head lowered, she was more certain that Elisa was shy.
That's awesome! They finally got back together!
Words couldn't describe Julia's joy at that moment.
"I'm so glad you guys got back together! So, what's the other matter you mentioned?"
Julia thought Gareth and Elisa were shy to talk about their relationships, so she stopped probing. She was thankful enough to know their current state.
Gareth answered, "Jeremy told me he's coming to give you another injection."
Julia's smile stiffened. "Another injection?"
She disrelished receiving injections. Even her previous excitement subsided slightly.
Gareth explained, "Your body lacks multiple nutrients. If you don't receive the injection now, there'll be countless injections moving forward."
Julia was flabbergasted. Elisa uttered with a smile, "Grandma, let's be cooperative so you can avoid the injections in the future."
Only then did Julia realize the late-night movie date was just an excuse to make her receive the injection. She knew that given Gareth's ability, a movie could be arranged for him on his demand.
At that thought, Julia did not want to waste the couple's dating time, so she said readily, "No problem, I'll get the injection. You don't need to stay here with me. Go ahead and catch the movie. I'll wait for Jeremy to come."
Julia didn't intend to bluff them. She just didn't want to disturb their precious dating opportunity.
