Chapter 1180 Turn Over a New Leaf
Julia lifted her head to look at Jeremy, awaiting an answer to prepare herself mentally.
Jeremy was startled. He did not know the answer as he followed Elisa's instructions.
However, he could not reveal it to Julia then, so he said, "It depends on your health condition. If you have sufficient nutrients in the body, there's no need to receive more injections. Otherwise, I can't promise."
Julia sighed in desperation, perceiving Jeremy's meaning. "I guess there are more to come."
Jeremy acquiesced to the remark.
Elisa uttered, "Grandma, take care of yourself and maintain a bright mood. Don't get angry easily. Otherwise, you might need to receive more injections."
"I have to receive injections for getting angry too?" Julia was terrified.
Jeremy understood Elisa's intention, so he nodded in agreement when Julia looked at him.
"Elisa's right. Anger can cause significant harm to one's health. So, it's important to maintain your emotional health too."
Julia was distressed. "I wish to keep a good mood all the time, but sometimes the old man irritates me."
Darren often made Julia's blood boil due to Elisa's matter. At that thought, Julia couldn't help being frustrated again. She inhaled deeply to control her emotions to avoid being given injections again.
Elisa smiled. "Grandpa called me the other day and said he has figured it out."
Julia was surprised. "What? I can't believe he called you."
Elisa nodded with a grin. "Yeah. Grandpa has gotten his head on straight. He disliked me in the past, but now, he understands he shouldn't hold prejudice against me. He even apologized and asked for my forgiveness. Grandma, Grandpa has tried his best."
Julia was filled with disbelief. "Are you bluffing me? How is that possible?"
Julia couldn't believe her ears, but because it was Elisa who said it, she hesitated.
She wouldn't believe it if anyone else told her so, including Gareth.
Elisa answered, "It's true. Why would I bluff you on this matter?"
Julia blinked her eyes in shock, thinking it was a joke. She shook her head and said, "You don't have to tell me this to make me happy. I know how stubborn he is. I'm thankful enough if he'll shut up and not bicker with me. How would he possibly apologize to you?"
Suddenly, Julia recalled the conversation with Darren yesterday. At once, she was confused. Did the old man turn over a new leaf? For real? I just can't believe it!
"It's real, Grandma." In fact, Elisa was not telling a lie. Darren had indeed talked to her. He hoped she would reveal this matter to Julia to make her happy.
Elisa paused briefly before continuing, "If you don't believe it, you can ask Grandpa."
Startled, Julia was at a loss for words. A few seconds later, she muttered, "Alright, I'll ask him tonight when he's back."
Then, she stared at Elisa.
