No Chance of Remarriage Get Lost (Elisa) novel Chapter 1190

Chapter 1190 I’m Afraid You Wouldn’t Be Able To Take It

Elisa's eyes were still and carried a scornful expression. No matter what...

What's the point of finding her?

She suddenly lost interest in the movie.

But they were only halfway through the movie. Grandma might've already been aware of when they entered. If they left the cinema now, it would make Grandma overthink.

Elisa furrowed her eyebrows as she tried to calm her anxious thoughts.

The movie continued. After painstaking effort, the male lead finally found the female lead, but she had appeared with another man at a ceremonial dinner and was holding onto the other man's arm. He had let his guard down.

He pulled her to a secret room and forcefully pushed her against the corner of the wall. The female lead struggled to escape while spurting out hurtful words, but the male lead hugged her and wouldn't let go of her.

He said, "I've been too lenient with you, so I allowed you to leave, but from now on, you can only stay by my side."

Elisa was startled. He tried so hard to find her, but now that he saw her, he became aggressive. Can he get her back this way?

Elisa frowned upon his actions.

Elisa was no longer interested in the movie and decided to look at her handphone. Maybe she didn't want to watch the film because she would unconsciously link the male character and Gareth.

As the movie continued, Gareth didn't do anything else and stayed focused on the film.

It was a sad ending whereby the lead characters didn't end up together. The female lead no longer liked the male lead and even despised him. He tried various ways to get back together, but the female lead chose the man who genuinely cared for her.

Gareth's expression turned gloomy when he saw this ending.

Elisa was quite surprised with the ending as she expected the main characters to be together to comply with the market's needs. But with this ending, she was unsure how the audience would react.

She only pondered about it for a while before getting up to leave. She didn't even look at Gareth.

Gareth also stood up dreadfully. He even texted Thomas as he walked out of the movie theater.

Gareth: 'Take down the movie. Change the ending.'

When Thomas received the text, he was dumbfounded. He didn't know what the movie was about and couldn't understand what Gareth meant. But from how he texted, Thomas knew that Mr. Wickam was upset.

Or else why would Mr. Wickam ever care about the film's storyline?

He speculated that the storyline must have made Mr. Wickam upset.

Thomas didn't dare to ask any further. After sending a reply, he went online to search for the movie.

After an hour, Thomas called the director of the film.

The director was startled to receive his call, "Mr. May? Why did you call me?"

Thomas coughed softly and tried to conceal his awkwardness as he said, "I have something to discuss with you."

"You're welcome anytime. Tell me what you have in mind."

Thomas rubbed his eyebrows. "I'm afraid you won't be able to take it."

"Ah?" The director felt confused.

After all, Thomas was Gareth's trusted assistant. His words were equivalent to Gareth's words. So when he said this, the director felt anxious. What does Gareth want to do?

He took a deep breath, seemingly controlling his rising blood pressure as he slowly uttered, "You're just relaying his words. How could I not handle it? If Mr. Wickam has any suggestions, then it surely is valuable. You have the final say."
