No Chance of Remarriage Get Lost (Elisa) novel Chapter 1792

Will hung his head low, staring at the ground.

After a while, Elisa prepared a mug of ginger tea for him.

She placed the mug of tea on the table and glanced over at Linda, who was standing alone by the side.

Linda must be seething with rage at the sight of her enemy right before her eyes, but she couldn't do anything about it, as it would risk revealing her true identity.

She couldn't even bear to look at either of them.

Elisa felt bad for Linda, but she knew that she was only getting what she deserved. Linda was the only one to blame for her current situation.

Suddenly, she was brought out of her thoughts by the sound of her phone ringing.

It was Gareth.

She hadn't thought about him that day, but he called her out of the blue.

Elisa picked up the call, her curiosity piqued by what he had to say.

She pressed her lips into a thin line and asked indifferently, "What is it?"

Gareth knew Elisa wouldn't be happy to hear from him, but he didn't care. He was determined to stay by her side and protect her, even if it meant upsetting her.

Gareth was as unruffled as ever. He didn't show any signs of irritation at her response. "When will you be returning?" he inquired calmly.

Elisa was taken aback by his persistence. She didn't know how to respond.

He behaved like the ideal husband, yearning for his wife to return home.

However, Gareth was far from being an ideal husband.
