Naturally, Damian understood.
As longtime friends, Damian didn't want to have a falling out with him.
"I must repay the debt of gratitude. Alright, let's not dwell on that. Let's discuss other collaborations," Damian tactfully suggested, taking a step back.
However, Winslow showed no interest in those collaborations. "I'm not currently discussing partnerships."
"Mr. Knowles, what do you mean by this? Are you planning to back out if we're not discussing cooperation?" Damian was very surprised.
Firstly, Winslow had never had a woman by his side, nor did he have any children. Now, with the appearance of his niece, Elisa, it was understandable that he would dote on and protect her.
But could Winslow really want to give all his wealth to Elisa?
Winslow pursed his lips, his hands clasped behind his back.
A few seconds later, he slowly said, "She is my only niece, so of course my wealth will go to her."
Damian finally understood.
However, he wouldn't give up either.
Damian stayed there and had a long conversation with Winslow over tea.
Dinner time arrived quickly, and both Elisa and Gareth were invited as well.
After arriving at the casino, several hours passed before they saw each other again.
Gareth immediately went to Elisa's side. "Have you rested well?"
"Um, what about you?" Elisa also asked Gareth.
"Not really," Gareth replied honestly.
Elisa looked surprised but didn't say anything.
The very next moment, Gareth added, "I can't sleep well without you."
What the hell!
Brie is still with me!
