The person in front of her gave a cold smile, striding toward Rachel. Accompanying him were the rest of his accomplices.
That spectacle made Rachel feel a sense of oppression.
After all, she was the only one in the underground parking lot, and she was outnumbered.
“How dare you!”
Rachel pinched her own palm, rebuking them in a cold voice.
“Do you know who I am? I am Vincent's girlfriend. I—”
Before Rachel could finish her sentence, she was knocked unconscious by a blow to the back of her head.
Immediately after, Rachel was hooded with a sack and thrown into a van.
Meanwhile, in a hotel near the KKCD Casino in Moranta, Thomas returned and even brought some food for Elisa, along with some iced coffee.
Of course, these were all instructions given by Gareth.
Gareth thought that he was right in front of her, so Elisa wouldn't possibly throw those things into the trash can in his presence.
However, after just a glance, Elisa understood that Gareth was the one who instructed Thomas to bring those things over.
As an assistant, it was impossible for Thomas to inquire about her preferences.
“Ms. Benett, I'm going to prepare a medicinal bath for Mr. Wickam. Could you please keep an eye on him for a while? Please check if these things are to your liking. If not, I can go and change them for you right away.”
Seeing that Elisa was hesitant to take it, Thomas spoke softly to her, gauging Elisa's reaction.
When Thomas saw Elisa waving her hand, he understood it and made room for them.
Once again, only the two of them were left in the room.
Gareth gave a bitter smile and said, “Liz, you're keen on drawing a line between us now. I wonder, without you, what should I do with this body of mine?”
When Gareth said those words, he appeared to be very pitiful.
