No Chance of Remarriage Get Lost (Elisa) novel Chapter 2214

"Alright, I'm going to hang up now," she said.

She could have simply ended the call, but upon reflection, she realized that she had been through a lot with Gareth.

Gareth hastily stopped her, "Wait a moment. Can you give me just two minutes? My grandmother's attitude towards you has changed, and she herself doesn't even realize it. When you're not around, she misses you. I believe that whenever she thinks of you, she must remember the things she has done. Moreover, you've always been the one taking care of her. If someone else suddenly took over, I fear she might not adapt well..."

He didn't finish his sentence, but his intention was clear.

Elisa understood him, but the issue between her and his grandmother was certainly not something that could be resolved quickly.

She spoke honestly to Gareth. "Gareth, it's impossible for me to look after Grandma forever, as I have my own things to do. If you don't trust others, I can help you make arrangements."

The arrangements she made would undoubtedly be reliable.

Gareth was not one to distrust others, but he felt that as long as she was there, everything would be fine. Moreover, this was an opportunity he could use to make his grandmother happy.

Apart from that, he had no other intentions.

"No need. Just prescribe me some medicine to improve her health. I'll take care of Grandma while waiting for your return. You go ahead with your work."

After he finished speaking, he didn't wait for Elisa to respond, he simply hung up the phone.

Elisa was at a loss. She had explained herself so clearly, yet Gareth remained stubbornly persistent. For a moment, she didn't know what to say.

After ending the call, Elisa stepped outside. The people at the door had already left because her uncle had arrived.

The moment their eyes met, Elisa instinctively lowered her gaze, due to the subconscious apprehension she felt towards an elder.
