Marsha smirked at Elisa, her smile filled with sarcasm.
Especially the disdain in Marsha's eyes.
Elisa knew that Marsha was intentionally provoking her with her words, so she didn't get angry. "I don't need to run to Will and cry. Do you think you could keep him? If I really wanted to do something?"
Those deeply in love were the most courageous.
If Will could be so stubborn for her, then all she had to do was make a small request. After all, there was no way Will wouldn't comply.
In fact, Will would take immediate action just to prove himself.
She simply didn't want Will to be rejected by his family.
Moreover, she didn't have any strong feelings about relationships. Otherwise, she would have made her move long ago.
Elisa's words were a form of provocation to Marsha. Not one to back down, Marsha retorted, "I'm still here, you know? Do you really think I would allow such a situation to occur?"
"I know you wouldn't. But I'm not a fool either. I can clearly understand the situation. It's fine if you don't want me in your house. It's not like I'm particularly interested in it either," Elisa replied with a chuckle.
So what if I have to remarry? I would have no trouble finding a new partner if I wanted to! I have enough money! If I'm just looking for a handsome man, I can easily find one in no time!
For Marsha, Elisa's tone was undoubtedly a form of provocation.
Marsha was very angry, but Elisa had already walked away.
When she returned to the room, she could clearly hear Will's heavy breathing.
"Why are you so angry? I don't think it's necessary to be this upset. If your parents disapprove, I believe you should consider their opinion and find someone else. After all, marriage involves more than just two people."
