North had no choice but to continue explaining to Will in an attempt to dispel his suspicions.
Meanwhile, North and Brie were also secretly observing, waiting for an opportunity to make their move.
Will was not naive.
As North spoke, his gaze remained fixed on the two individuals. The more Will looked at them, the less they resembled each other. He couldn't help but grow more suspicious.
He nodded, signaling his bodyguards to apprehend North and Brie.
After exchanging a glance, North and Brie swiftly launched their attack, intending to capture Will first. However, the closest bodyguard to Will quickly intervened with a flying kick, instantly blocking their advance.
The two were quickly entangled by the other bodyguards.
Will noticed their skill and professional training.
Continuing the fight would only lead to his defeat.
Consequently, the bodyguards swiftly drew their handguns from their waists, aiming directly at North and Brie's heads. Naturally, their movements slowed down.
However, with a swift hand-chop, Brie snatched a handgun from a bodyguard as quick as lightning. She hooked her finger on the trigger, aiming directly at Will.
“Let us go.”
Continuing the confrontation wouldn't benefit them.
“If you don't reveal your intentions, releasing you would be like releasing a tiger back into the mountains,” Will chuckled softly, but the laughter didn't reach his eyes.
His sharp black eyes were as piercing as a blunt knife.
“What else could be our intention? Some things can only end in death,” North coldly stated.
Indeed, just as Will had suspected, these two individuals had come to kill him.
